well ever u r pointin it in the wrong way or u r not puttin it in futher noth
so keep on tryin and if it still hurts stick with s towels
good luck

Well use playtex where they have plastic all around, the tampax like cardboard ones HURT!

It shouldn't hurt if you insert it right....Also, be sure you're using the right 'flow' type. If you use say the..the 'heavy' ones when your flow is light or regular, then it will hurt cause the sizes vary. Start off with the 'light'/'regular' ones and then just use a pad/line for back up for now just so you can better tell what your flow is like/ how long it takes until you need to wear a new one. Either way don't wear tampons longer than 3/3.5 hours each. Good luck! :o)

ps: Try reading the little instructions pamphlet that comes in the tampons box. That should help.

You may not be inserting it deep enough I used to have the same problem but then learnt that I needed to push it in a little bit more then you wouldnt even notice you had it in.

coz im a man

It should not hurt. Maybe ur putting it in wrong

im no expert atall but my guess is because ur still young an perhaps not yet fully developed

Hard to say, but if it starts feeling uncomfortable before you even get it in, you may be using a kind that's too big for your body, or you may be standing/sitting in an awkward position for it to go in.

I presume you are a virgin and this is your hymen getting in the way. There is a hole in your hymen which you could try and locate with your fingers, and stretch it wider to allow you to use a tampon, or your doctor could do this for you. This is NOT the same as losing your virginity!

You may be tilting it in the wrong direction. Try tilting sligtly forwards or slighty backwards (whichever you are not doing now.) If it still hurts yu may want to talk to your doctor. Best wishes ;)

Honey, are you sure, if you push tampon in all way in as far you goes? Or maybe, if you using difference size the tampon. That how hurt. I recommend get a Tempax Pearl Junior size tampon. This will work better for you. Should fit you proper. Make sure, if you put your tampon in correctly. Just follow the instructions on the package.

Its normal if you are dry down there . What l was told to do is smear a little bit of vaseline round the tip of the applicator befor you insert. It will just slip in.I am 36 and have been using this method for 22 years.

Your vaginal skin is very stretchy. Right now it is closed pretty much, it must stretch a little to fit a tampon in. You may want to help it open up a little bit with ky jelly and your fingers, gently so as to not hurt yourself. Don't use Vaseline or other possible lubricants as these are not water soluble. Get the smallest tampon possible. Put a dab of ky on the tip. Put your foot on the toilet, place the tampon over vagina, and begin to insert, when you run into trouble, tilt it toward your back as that is the way the canal tilts. Put it in as far as it will go or it will bother you. It may take you a while, but keep using the ky so you do not get sore. Don't give up, you can do it, and it will be so much nicer than pads.
peace

It shouldn't hurt if it's inserted correctly. Keep trying.

well i think that you should use a pad and switch to tampons in a year or less. it's not supposed to hurt at all. the tampon is supposed to fit right in and you shouldn't be able to feel it. i think that you are putting it in wrong

I dont think you are putting it in far enough when you do you should not really feel any discomfort from it :)

its because your using the wrong tampon. try the really small ones and then switch to bigger ones if you need them. a tampon will absorb everything wether its blood or water of whatever. so if the tamopn wants to absorb more blood than there is it will absorb the water and dry out your vagina and you will get sore and thats what hurts. and what alot of ppl are saying isnt true. 1. you will NOT loose your virginity by using a tampon. 2. you are NOT too young to use a tampon. 3. you do NOT need to widen your vagina. but what also could be is that your putting it in slightly wonky, but that shouldnt hurt. what happens then is that the blood will go around the tampon and will not be absorbed but will end up in your underwear. well good luck with everything.

i couldnt use them until after i had had a kid a lot of other people have said the same to me there are plenty of other things you could use instead of tampons till your older or you could keep trying i gave up after a bit either way dont worry about it.
