Can my doctor send me to the gym?!

Question: Im too embarassed to get weighed at the gym by someone I don't know. So can I just go to my doctor and ask her to send me to the gym..?

I know that hundreds of people get weighed there all the time, but I really get embarassed and I'll think about it all the time and still be embarassed weeks later.

I'm sure that the doctor can and most likely would prescribe some exercise therapy for you , But honey take the initiative damn all the spectators and rubber neckers. This is your life that you are fighting for. I hate to say it but grow up be an adult.

What is the question? No she/he will weigh you and its nothing to be embarrased about.

Most doctors will let you get weighed at any time. Just go in and ask the nurse to weigh you.

I don't understand the question. You want to know if your doctor can go to the gym with you and weigh you? I don't think many doctors would be willing to do that, unless they are a friend of yours.

You don't have to be weighed at the gym. Buy a scale and weigh yourself at home.

You really don't need to be embarrased, though. Nobody at the gym will even remember your weight the next day.

Yes.. your GP can recommend you to a gym. You can always talk to him or her and made them take your weight and use it for future references rather than weighing you everytime.
BUt i dont think many doctors will actually go to the gym with you.. Sorry :(

I see your very worried about your weight.. But you will have the beautiful eye of yours to woo em :P

Yes doctors usually (my cousin had this problem) recommend you gyms/local weight watcher groups or diet plans.
Hope that helps and good luck!
