I can feel my tampons and i think i put them in far enough!!?!

Question: okay so this is my first period and i have been wearing tampons and i can always feel mine!!!! i am putting it in as far as it says on the package but for some reason i can always feel mine. I am using regular tampax and i dunno i can feel it! i thought that maybe the regulars were too big or something but it absorbs a lot of blood from me! im not like way heavy but just normal, hence me using the normal ones! maybe i am just thinking about it too much since i have a tendancy to be a lil OCD about things! Thanx!!

Aw.
I had the same problem. Your vagina hasn't adjusted to you having tampons getting stuck up there. Instead of using the regulars get slim. If you can get them in the US. I know you can get them in Aus. Probably can [: But just hang in there and heaps of ladies have the same problem as you. And so has your mom. It helps if you talk to her too. Remember not to leave the tampon for more then 3-4 hours as you have a chance of having Toxic Shock Sydrome. It can kill you so please be careful. Rare, but dangerous.

much love,
xx

You shouldn't be able to feel it at all. Try to get it in further.

OCD trancends every aspect of your life. Work on it and you will find that everything fits better.

Try teen tampons or just lite days tampons, you should definatly not feel your tampons

I think you are suposed to feel them but ignore them.
I suggest using pads since it is your first period then use tampons for you next period.

Hope i could help.

id sugest u just use pads as it is only your first.

If its the first time you will feel it even if it is inserted correctly, i did now iv gotten use to it. Its ok you'll get use to it

you want to put the tampon in as far as you think it should go. make sure its further than just the opening of the lips. you need to put the tampon applicator at least all the way in. it will feel better if you do.

use the lowest absorbancy that controls your flow, to prevent toxic shock syndrom.

you should NOT feel the tampon, unless it wasn't inserted far enough, or it is sliding out (happens when u have a hard bowel movement, or sometimes if the tampon is too full).

anytime it's uncomfortable, take it out, and reinsert another. you can't go too far up. it cannot get lost up there :)

its ok sometimes you feel it especially if its your first time using it, after a while you wont be able to feel it anymore. Dont put it in farther than its supposed to go....

nah. um...well im 20 ive been have my period for a while. but. with tampon if your putting it in far enough (your fingers are touching ur skin when u enter it.). but if u feel it. u may have to use a super (one size larger) cause it is absorbing blood to fast and slipping. (sorry to be gross.) but just try a SUPER and see how that feels. it will feel uncomfortable for a bit but, ull be fine. (also it is ur first time. so your not used to it.)

You could try using the Slim kind. They are really good and go in nice and easily. Push them in as far as your finger will go. It could be that you are thinking about them to much as well. But you could also try using pads for a little while, but I know they can be really annoying.

try different tampons, you should not feel them at all. try pushing them in a little angled, if i put mine straight they don't go in all the way, i have to tilt them towards the back a little and they go in farther. Everyone's body is different so find what works.

I used a tampon for the very first time today, I use the slim light flow ones. The smallest you can get I think. And I think it was because I was so nervous that I felt mine too, maybe I should have put mine in farther, I'm not too sure.

I couldn't feel it when I was sitting, but when I would walk I could.
Maybe they take some getting used to or something, beats me.

Sometimes they slip down towards the entrance to the vagina and you can feel them there, or possibly your hymen is still mostly intact and it's irritated. If it feels dry and irritated, it's possible that you aren't bleeding enough or producing enough normal vaginal juices to allow you to use a tampon right now -- it may just be too dry to be comfortable, is what I mean.

It's also possible that you've got it bumped up against your cervix, and that your cervix is particularly long. Go ahead and wash your hands, and stick a finger in there, gently. Your cervix is sticking down from the top of your vagina, and you might be able to move it to the side or up so that the tampon is next to it. If it still bothers you, just switch to pads for a while.

Welcome to the world of womanhood!

It may be a little large. There are slimer ones. They can slide down and be uncomfortable. I don't like them either. I always feel a little uneasy while wearing them. You may be like me and just don't like them. LOL

try using smaller tampons, and put them in on a different angle - you shouldn't be able to feel them honey :)

good luck!
