I have some friends that said the first time they had sex it was uncomfortable, so that was probably when the tore their hymen ("popped their cherry") but some women either never have one or it isn't very substantial. Like neither I or any of my sisters can remember "popping their cherry" very few girls bleed and if they do, its only very little. hoped this helps.

sometimes u cant tell u did pop it, sometimes it bleeds, but u would never know, its different with people. Hopefully im not mean!!!

You can do it in sports, using tampons, etc. Either way, sometimes you might not notice that it's gone.

If you do bleed, from whatever cause, it shouldn't be that long.

If it really, really concerns you, go to the gyno :)

If by "popped your cherry" (I hate that terminology) you mean you've lost your virginity, then yes, most females bleed. However, some don't. I didn't. Most of my friends did.

The "cherry" is acutely called the hymen. Please, please read the information contained in the web site below. If you have never had sex, and I mean actual penetration, then you are still a virgin. Because the hymen is located outside the vagina, it can be broken in other ways than penetration. I urge you to read the information though, it explains it better than anyone on this site can.

The only way you a virgin is if you have not had penis/vaginal intercourse. Your "cherry" may have "popped" by sports/tampons/etc but you are still considered a vigin.

The term "popped your cherrry" came from what it sounds like...get the idea? But, that dosnt happen to every virgin. If your young and of small frame, your heiman can be torn and bleed. But the more mature and athletic your body is, it doesnt tend to happen. The bleeding isnt serious unless it seems serious to you, its a lot of blood or prolonged. If the sex was really rough, it could make the bleeding worse. And as for the pain, its only painful if your body and mind wasnt ready yet. Sex is meant to be pleasureful and it can be if its done at the right time.

The hymen is the thin membrane that sometimes covers the opening to the vagina if you're a virgin. I say "sometimes" because, even if you haven't had sex, the hymen can do a bit of a disappearing act due to an overzealous workout at the gym, horseback riding, tampons, and even passionate "heavy petting" with your boyfriend. (It's not an impenetrable barrier, anyway, as it has holes to allow menstrual blood to escape.)

The first time can be painful when the hymen breaks upon penatration. There can also be some blood. Every girl is different so for some it can be light spotting or a lot of blood. For others there can be a lot of pain, some or none. I never did bleed, but there was a whole lot of pain.

im not rude but I can tell you this, shut up

This is way two nasty so I ain't gonna answer it. And you can't make me either. Your buddy, Bob xoxoxo
