Flush or Bin?!

Question: Ok.. so it's pretty yuck but myself and some friends of mine are in the middle of a mass debate about weather or not you flush or bin your tampons? I know, it's discusting but hey. We were bored.

I bin mine - it's not a good idea to flush them, unless there's no bin of course.

depends on the plumbing system in situ. flush usually.

If it doesn't say biodegradable on the box, you are suppose to trash them. They won't break down so it risks clogging the plumbing in your home and makes it more difficult for the local water treatment plants to clean the water.

Tampons are smaller and wont clog the pipes in a toilet. Pads on the other hand might and usualy do clog toilets.

if theirs a sanitary bin. . . then use it, other wise flush it

i never flush tampons or pads. but it can get embarrasing when theres not a bin in the cubical.

Being a building cleaner, I found huge sucker in the toilet, and it was not pretty... Bin them ladies

I use pads
and i flush =]

but tear them up first

ok, i have to go with flush..cuz i hate to see one in trash if im in bathroom..

but cant tampons clog your toilet?
