Why is a chest so important?!
Question: I'm in 8th grade, I'm an A cup, and I'm somewhat proud. I don't understand why the guys in my grade like big boobs so much, it's not like they can do anything but stare. I do feel that my body is being unfair to me, giving me a period and making my hips bigger but no boob growth, but I wouldn't stuff my bra or wear padded ones just so I would get a little more attention from the opposite sex.
Why do most girls like me(flat-chested) want a freakin' D cup? o.O

You know, I feel the same way. I mean, why does it matter? I think it's kind of like just what you prefer. I personally feel fine as an A, but some people might feel more comfortable with bigger or smaller breasts. But boys in 8th grade like those real skimpy girls with the big breasts because their hound dogs! Lol. So, I'd just say to worry about yourself, and be comfortable the way you are.

probably for the same reason you want us to have tight butts and big wallets.
i dont know why its a big deal, but i can tell you now that there ARE boys out there who do not like big boobs...they might actually PREFER a smaller chest! all i can say is be happy you even have them and that they're healthy and not cancerous. be happy with what you have!

chests ARENT sooo important.. being sexy and good looking has to do with self confidence and how you hold yourself and how you FEEL.. be happy and love your body and the boys will want you! meanwhie they are young young young and way immature ... dont worry about it.. just know youre gorgous and walk around knowing it!

because most girls your age are obliged to look a certain way for guys to "like" them. Good thing you're not caught-up in this way of thinking. Good job and always flaunt that A cup of yours lol
Because immature boys think that boobs make the person. When you get to be a bit older you will be thankful that age and gravity did not make a mockery of your chest. Not ALL males are into boobs. Some men (like my last hubby) dig ****. The rounder the better. Some men like the lovely smoothe line that forms from the back of a womans neck down the center of her back to disappear into the cleavage formed by her buttocks (my asian boyfriend informed me of that one). Love yourself, doll and others will too. Be proud.

Well honestly i think that big boobs are really unattractive. (especially like the really fake ones you see on TV) but seriously don't feel bad. I'm in 8th grade as well and some of my friends are like COMPLETELY flat. I'm probably about the same as you but honestly i don't really think about it that much. Guys are wierd, I mean, it's not like we're looking at their privates to see how big they are? I think that people look best like, just the way they are...
thank your lucky stars you don't have the back trouble that comes with lugging those things around. Just look at it this way they aren't small they are exquisite miniatures.
I guess because they want attention from boys. But lots of girls with D & C cups etc. want a smaller bust! And your only in 8th grade and you will keep growing - I was in 8th grade and i went from a B to a D in one year. Trust me you will keep growing until you are around 18.
No idea....my friends say it sucks being big chested cuz when i guy is looking at you and talking they dont even look at ur face...its like their eyes are magnents to their boobs..its..nastyy. . It really shouldnt matter..but...whatever...Those people who want bigger boobs to attract guys..are pretty much desperate.

I grew up an A cup and stayed that way for years. My brothers used to tease me. I wanted big boobs so bad I couldn't stand it!
Now I am older. Thank God they weren't ever big when I was younger. Yes, they grew a tiny bit but they do not hang down to my knees. Small boobs are great afterall!!!
You seem to be a very mature and down-to-earth 8th grader. I'd have to agree with you though. I always wore a B cup and since I'm only 5'2" it fit well with my size. But I gained weight and went to a DD and I have to say that I miss my B. Girls are beginning to transition from having female friends to starting to have relationships with boys, so the attention is nice for them. But trust me a D cup is too big for a 13-14 year old because then grown men start looking and that's just plain creepy.
Well we have no proof that that is what guys want, but guys can be pretty strange. And if flat chested girls want bigger boobs, they are probably very insicure or self conscious, even if they don't show. Hope I helped

Count your blessings......the guy who shows an interest in you will be interested in you, not your boobs! Be proud! and enjoy the fact that you probably will be perky for most of your life!!!!! Those big boobs end up around the waist after some time!
They do not stare at the big ones because they are bigger, they stare because they are boys. 12 years old! You will understand this better when you are older.
count yourself lucky for only having A's right now. When I was in 9th grade I had a D cup..... now, I am 28 and I think gravity sucks! I can hardly find bras that fit right and I have a lot of back pain. I wish I was somewhere in the middle.
Right now, it seems like that is all the guys look at and like, it is just beause it is something new. They will outgrow it in time.
Don't worry I think it is nothing subject ,And teenagers feel like this and boobs are the one of beauty in your body ,so your lucky .
