What should you eat when you have a swollen stomach?!

Question: My doctor didn't specify what to eat, exactly, but he did give me some nexium to take over the next ten days so that the acid would be lessened and my stomach could heal. Lately, my diet mainly consists of tomato sauce, tomato soup, whole wheat pasta/waffles, lean cuisine paninis and water. And I've noticed the problem getting worse, especially after the prescribed medicine ran out. Is there anything I should or should not eat with a swollen stomach?

Also, it's been bothering me for over a month at this point. The prescribed medication ran out somewhere around the fifth.

It could be all the citric acid in the tomato soup and pasta sauce that's bothering you. Then again, you may be allergic to glutten and the pasta could be bothering you. I'd try switching to chicken noodle soup and rice dishes for awhile and see if that helps.
