Started my period, large discharge..what could it be?!

Question: I skipped my period last month, and I just started it again yesterday. Today though I went to the bathroom, and a large (about the size of two/three quarters side by side) goey substance slid out from my vagina. I know that during your period, you shed the lining of my uterus..so that's what I'm thinking it was. But it's never looked like that before..and I'm sure it's not supposed to. So does anyone have any info about what's going on? I'd really appreciate it!

That is normal. It is the shedding of the lining of your uterus. Some women never have that and some do every month. I personally have that happen now and then if I skip a month or if I am really stressed. If you are really worried about it, you can call your doctor and ask, but it happens to alot of women. No need to worry... I hope this helps.

you are right...it is the shedding of your uterus. There can be many factors...if you ate a lot the last month, no exercise and since you skipped last month...ugh...it will be worse.

don't worry but if it continues month after month you may want to be evaluated by your doctor.

Not sure. would definitely recomend asking your parents or going to a doctor

it could be a miscarriage especially since u missed your last period. girls can have them quite often in the begining of trying to get pregnant, u can have a miscarriage and mistaken it 4 your period, ask your dr, i wouldnt worry.
