What could cause a person to stop growing when they are 11?!

If you were an 'early bloomer' like i was, 11 could be it. I hit my final height at 11 too, and I'm 5'9. Don't tell me that wasn't awkward in elementary/middle school... lol
caffeine, low amts of sleep

Hormones. Commonly overweight girls are likely to have their period before they're suppose to.
Smoking, overweight, drugs, being underweight etc
For me, it was Hypothyroidism. It was not caught until I was 19 and by that time it was too late for the medication to help me grow.
Also a lot of the ADD and ADHD medication will cause stunted growth.
Some people reach their peak height at 11. It happens.

Hormone deficiency. Doctors can give you hormones tho to sort it out.
Smoking cigarettes, drinking, and drug abuse come immediately to mind, but many other factors can play a part. Genetics, malnutrition, hormonal imbalance, and poor environment can all lead to it too. Typically growth deals with the development of the bones. Possibly an issue there too. Hope that helps. Take care.
