Unusual weight gain...?!

Question: I have always been thin...but I fell ill and had 2 kidney stones removed, which I actually lost lot of weight from. Then within a year, I gained over 20 lbs. I also switched my birthcontrol to Yaz. My stomach and thighs, is where I am seeing the weight gain. Can someone tell me why, I am gaining this weight. How do I get back to my normal self??

Without knowing your age, I am just betting that it is this Yaz stuff.

diabetes

uhmmm....maybe u should go see a doctor and ask them

birth control makes alot of women gain weight talk to your dr

its the pills....go see a doctor too.

drink water , stop eating bread, avoid caffeine

The pill tricks your body in to thinking you are pregnant, thats why you don't get pregnant on the pill. It makes you gain weight, so your choices are diet and exercise with cardio, or find another birth control method!

It might just been the birth control pill u should go see a doctor before anything happens to u that u don't wont to happen

It may be the birth control pills or your just not as active as you once were..I would get a hold of your DR. and see what they have to say..Exercise and a healthy lifestyle will help you get back to "normal"

Have a physical exam with blood work to rule out any health problems,

Otherwise, just watch what you're eating and get some exercise.

It could be a post-surgical complication, the birth control, or something completely unrelated.

I highly reccomend you visit your doctor -- we can guess, but never diagnose. Meanwhile, try to excercise a bit, and watch your diet.

honestly the best answer is the change in birth control because its changing your natural hormone production, making your metabolism react differently than before. the only way to change is perhaps change birth control either form or brand.
