Girls Only!?!

Question: I was on my period the during of Christmas. I shouldn't be due for a period until next week. I started yesterday. However, my period is lighter and usually it is very heavy. Should I be concerned? Also, before recently I use to work out 3 times a week. I didn't work out any at all in December (I know, shame on me!) because of all the holiday stress and other personal information. Do you think that this could be the reason why I have started early is because I stopped doing something my body is use to doing?

I don't think so. I'm assuming that you have a regular monthly period in your situation. There are times that a woman would have their period earlier or later than their expected date. This is normal. A normal period (cycle) would be 28-30 or 32 days. Stress somehow delays your period or sometimes makes your period lighter. There would be times that on one month you have a light period then on the next month you'll have a heavy period. Exercise does help in preventing menstrual pain and regulating the flow of your period.

Possible, but in any case u should see a doctor to be sure everything is okay
