sounds like you need to strengthen you muscles down there. If you sit down you should be able to bring in your muscles and tighten them and then realease them again. If you do this a couple of times and then repeat 3 or 4 times a day it should help when your trying to hold on and give you time to get to the toilet in time.

Well, there are pills to subdue an overactive bladder- but that's not quite your trouble. What you need to do is strengthen the muscles of your pelvic floor, doing an exercise called kegels. And also recognize that the bladder does have a set capacity, and you must obey some rules of physics, including answering calls of nature when they come in. If you insist on filling the bladder to capacity and ignore the call- the autopilot kicks in. You only have control over one set of the muscles at the exit of the bladder, you have no control at all over the other set. So if you ignore the call too long, well- you know what will happen. If you want to avoid accidents, then listen to your bladder when it says it's time to go.
