That pill that makes your period disappear, what is it called?!

Question: and could it posssibly be safe?

Answers: and could it posssibly be safe?

seasonal

thyroid pills.

It's called Lybrel - go ahead and check it out. Some people have a beef with the whole idea of not having a period at all and whatnot, but for people like myself who find their period almost unbearable, it truly is a miracle. Even on the site they warn you about unexpected spotting/bleeding, which gets less the longer you take the pill. I've been taking mine for three months now, and while there was a lot of breakthrough bleeding in the beginning, there's almost none now. And btw, yes, it is safe! Women have been taking birth control for decades (and yes, they've also been overlapping medications for EVER to get rid of their period altogether). And so, other than for religious or cultural reasons (NOT medical!) there isn't any indication that it is unsafe not to have a period. But you should know that, as with all oral contraceptives, the pill increases the chances of blood clots if you're over 30.. (drinkin/smoking increase this risk). So live healthy and it shouldn't be a problem!
I'm telling you, i use to be OUT for 2 days every month. I could not walk and the pain was so terrible sometimes i thought i would pass out (and sometimes did from being exhausted after several hours of vomiting...) so this is one of the greatest things ever... Having my life uninterrupted... it's wonderful.
