My mom is acting kind of weird..strong period/depression...?!

Question: She is in her late 40's. She has a heavy period according to her. She seems to be very moody and emotiional. She thinks she is drepressed. She just got off the phone with me (she was crying), and she seems to be hurt about things that she wouldn't normally care for. This is not the normal pms symptoms.

Poor thing, PMS makes women really upset for some reason. They can be crying profusely for stupid little things! It can make you feel terrible so it probably is a bad case of pms. It could be menopause? I am not really sure but I hope things work out well! Make sure she knows how much you care about her and love her, see if that boosts her spirits a bit.

menopause

Menopause!

Sounds like the early stages of menopause. Try to be understanding and help her out if you can. From my understanding it will get worse before it gets better.
