It could be that you gained weight or it could just be hormonal. If you don't receive it next month go to the doctor.

Yes. Excessive weight loss or weight gain can cause amenorrhoea, or when the menstrual periods stop.

If your continuing to gain a lot of weight this could be the reason. I had the opposite and lost a lot of weight which caused my period to stop.

There is a chance it could be a thyroid condition as well as ovarian related. I would go to your gyn. and get it checked out.

Stress could cause it, too, so could weight gain. Also, if you are on the pill that sometimes causes you not to have a period.

it can also mean that ur under stress. if thats the case, juss stay clam. it can also mean that its normal. ur period cycle doesn't get normal until after a few years...

hope this helps... ^.^

YES. I DIDNT HAVE A PERIOD FOR 2 YEARS CUZ I HAD GAINED SO MUCH WEIGHT, DOCTORS TOLD ME THERES A NEW STUDY TO SEE WHY THAT IS...

SHE GOT ME ON BIRTCH CONTROL AN THAT REGULATED MY PERIODS MORE REGULARLY. SHE SAID IT WAS UNHEALTHY TO NOTT HAVE A PERIOD..

then i lost over 100 pounds n got pregnant while taking the pill

lmao

If you had been taking a birth control. That why, you hadn't got a period. That why, you will getting fewer period per year. If you still concern about this. You'll need talk your doctor as far your concern. If I were you do so.

you should consult with a doctor, pref. a Gynaecologist.
if the weight gain is accompanied by excess hair growth on body/ face this could be the start of PCOS, polycistic ovarian syndrome.
either way see a doc. most problems can be sorted or kept in check if diagnosed and treated early.

How many times were you tested? Just once?

I urge you to get to a doctor a repeat serum pregnancy test. This are more accurate than urine tests. Yes, there could be other causes, but a woman should never rely on the results of one pregnancy test.

Once you know for certain that you are not pregnant, you can explore other options and discuss them with your doctor.
