Odd Night Sweats...What's going on!?!?!?!

Question: So, at night I usually get night sweats. And I have get up and go to the bathroom like 2-3 times. I lose like SO MUCH water. I literally have to change my pjs at least once in the middle of the night because of sweating. But it's not a normal sweat. I don't feel hot or cold. I feel normal. But when I stand up I can feel the sweat dripping down my arms and legs and stomach and back and stuff. My head NEVER sweats at night when this happens. My hair isn't soaked with sweat, it's not dripping down my face, just from neck to toes. And my bed is usually soaked from it.

A lot of times during the day I get really flushed. I feel hot and clammy and my cheeks are rosy red like I was in the sun too long. And it lasts for a few hours.

Please tell me any experiences you've had like this! Help me figure out what's going on! I have a doc. appt. in March for a check up. Should I go sooner or what's going on!?!?! This is so weird and no one I know has any clue as to what it is!

Since you didn't give your age. I'm not going to presume your in your early 40's and possibly starting menopause. It could be anything from diabetes to a hormonal imbalance. I would suggest calling your doctor and see if you can get an earlier appt. to see if anything serious is going on.

Amongst other things night sweats can be caused by parasitic infection (usually a gut parasite though could be other). This could be remedied by undertaking a detox. Some advice and links worth checking here:

But can also be cause by other problems including hormonal imbalance. Here's what one sources (medicine net) has to say:
QUOTE:
"There are many different causes of night sweats. To determine what is causing night sweats in a particular individual, a doctor must obtain a detailed medical history and order tests to decide if an underlying medical condition is responsible for the night sweats. Some of the known conditions that can cause night sweats are:

1. Menopause
