first thing their going to do is run some blood work, like you said they will draw some blood and run alot of test, check for many things, such thyroid, low on iron, infection in your body some where, check blood sugar etc.
check your blood pressure, listen to your heart, take your pulse, in general most of it is painless OK
just relax for now, you be your just run down or have a infection or something, no since stressing out till DR looks at the test results

Good Luck sweetie, and God Bless

im tired all the time too how long has this gone on? try to get more sleep

So your going to the doctor just cause your tired and everything.? ahhh ce la.

Yea to see if your enemic(sp?) they do take your blood.
About the thryoid i dunno.

Try getting more sleep or your just lazy.

If you're having your thyroid checked and your iron levels checked to see if you are anemic, they will draw some blood BUT it's a very fine needle. Try to relax and it shouldn't feel any worse than a pinch. I don't always feel the needle and I've had patients tell me they didn't feel it when I drew their blood. It'll be okay - take care of yourself.

anemia is a lack of red blood cells or hemoglobin and can cause your iron levels to drop. Yes they do take blood to check the amount of iron and hemoglobin as well as several other factors including shape and size of the red blood cells. It is also possible that they take bone marrow, but its not likely. I hope that didnt scare you. Im sorry if it did. Good luck!!
