Endometriosis help?!
Question: I have been trying for a baby for over a year now with no luck. My periods are very heavy and painfull and sex is painfull. Do you think this sounds like Endometriosis?

Don't know about the painful sex part, but the rest could very well be endometriosis. My wife had it pretty bad, but not as bad as it can be. She had difficult, heavy periods, but no pain with sex. Maybe the pain with sex is something at higher levels. You may have two separate problems, endo and something causing you the pain, or it could be something else entirely. By all means go to your gyno and tell them you're problems. Endometriosis is pretty easy to diagnose. Have your husband checked out too. It may be a problem with him, or with both of you.

Sex should NEVER be painful. You need to get into the doctor now, if you wait too long with endometriosis you can become sterile. Your reproductive health is NOTHING to mess around with. please see your doctor NOW.
I have Endometriosis. It was diagnosed 10 yrs ago after many yrs of period problems. I didn't have fertility problems & had finished my family before diagnosis. It can cause many varied problems. You can have severe Endo & get no symptoms at all yet someone with very little Endo can suffer greatly. Painful sex & heavy, painful periods are often the first symptoms noticed. so yes you could have Endo, It can also cause fertility problems. but many women find if they get pregnant, the Endo disappears & they have no symptoms when periods return. It could also be a number of other things too so go see your Dr to be sure.
