You just need to wear what you feel most comfortable in. Personally I use Always brand in pads and Tampax in tampons. Wait until you have gone through a couple cycles before you start using tampons. just umtil you get the hang of it.

KOTEX

its just what u think are best nd feel the comfortablest to but like the kotex answer wouldnt be good for me cause me personally breack out from kotex and try gentle glide slimfits tampons if u just started and are light

I don't use pads anymore, but when I did, I preferred Always Ultra-Thins with wings. I've tried a few different brands and they definitely were the best!

I always used tampons because a pad to me feels like I am wearing a diaper, also you can go swimming with tampons. For when my period is light I usually just use a liner, and just before and just after my period because some spotting might occur. Still it is different for everyone, so find the ones that are right for you.

okay, so when i started my period for about 8 months all i wore was panti liners then i started getting a heavier flow and need actual pads so i used always ulta thin. now i use tampons after 10 mon. of having my period and i use tampax pearl. but if i were you i would start using tampons the next time u get ur period. way easier and comfotable.

I'm not sure about a light period, but I have found that I prefer to use Libra regular and night pads whenever I have my period, as when I started I tried others and they didn't work well and it was a bit embarrassing sometimes, I have not had any problems with Libra. You just need to find a brand that suits you and that you like. Good luck
