Low Tolerance to Yeast...What can I do?!

Question: I went to the gynecologist a couple months ago because of recurring yeast infection symptoms. It turned out that I didn't have infections, I just have a low tolerance to yeast. That's something I can't get rid of, but I just have to treat when I have symptoms. The doctor gave me a prescription for severe problems, but other than that, they told me to take Acidophilus to help control my level of yeast. They also recommended eating plenty of yogurt, wearing loose fitting jeans, and cotton underwear. Does anyone else have any suggestions to help control my level of yeast?

The advice your doctor gave you is as good as it gets.
I started taking acidophilus recently, and it changed my life. Seriously! I used to get painful headaches every day (nearly every day for the past 20 years,) and they stopped and haven't come back. I don't know why the acidophilus worked, but it did. I was actually taking it for vaginal issues, but it cured my other problem as well. Nice! I highly recommend it!

Everything that the doc said was pretty much on point. eat plain yogurt, don't take steaming hot baths, and all of the above.
