Brown period?!


Question: okay i usaully start my period on the 15th which is today about a week ago i started my headaches n a lil cramping yesterday i started brown with headaches n cramping but today i thought i would start red blood which i havent is this normal?

Brown is actually normal when it started.
It will turn red eventually. I have the same thing happen to me. It's dark red/brown looking then lightens to look like red, like blood should..

    Yeah, it's normal. Blood can be any color in range from red like blood should be, to plain dark brown.

    Yes, it is very normal for it to be brown discharge.

    Lets think positive and say maybe your iron is off.
    But seriously if it doesn't get right, go see your doctor.

    don't freak, its ok!!!!! unless you are having really really bad cramps (if you start crying, for example), or if your blood starts to smell bad. Otherise, its normal. If you are really concerned, talk to your mom or doctor or sister or whatever.

    if you have been sexually active,you could be spotting,which you might mistake for an early period,and is usually lighter then your normal menstrual cycle,and only lasts a few days,look it up,or it could be normal,when my periods coming to an end it gets darker and brownish,don't sweat it
