HELP! eating disorder or skinny?!


Question: k. i dont eat a lot ever. i snack throughout the day but i heardly ever eat big meals. sometimes i skip meals all together.i do 60 crunches everyday and i dance everyday and i run/nordic ski everyday. i always need to hav done something active durring the day. i weigh 130. i want to lose 30 pounds cause i feel fat. im 14. i am 5'9". HELP! do i hav an eating disorder or am i just skinny. should i lose weight and do i hav an eating disorder?

You are just skinny. And NO, you shouldn't lose any weight. Your weight now is PERFECT, if you lose any, you could possibly develop an eating disorder and be underweight. If the snacks you eat during the day, completely fill you up, then keep doing that. If they don't fill you up, then I would suggest eating more, or at least two full meals a day. Eating disorders are serious, and aren't any good for your body at all. I had an eating disorder for two years, and then my family started noticing that I had been dropping more weight every month, and I looked like skin and bones, literally. I looked disgusting. So over the passed few years, I've gained all the weight that I've lost, and a few extra pounds. It's good to have a few more. Don't say that you're fat either, you definitely are not. I'm 5'1" and weigh 125. Thats 5 pounds less than you and 8 inches shorter than you. If either one of us HAD to lose weight, it's be me. You should be happy with your weight. If I don't sound convincing enough, google 'Pro Ana.' She was so skinny, it was nasty.

If you look up to the ultra skinny super models, you shoudn't, those girls starve themselves, and all it does is make them look nasty. Boys don't like girls with no meat on their bones. They like something to grab, they want to be able to grab your hips. Also, if it'll make you feel any better, and NOT fat, which you aren't fat, google 'fat lady.' Fat, old women will pop up and it'll make you look like a twig. :D

You are just skinny, but keep eating more cause you could get a eating disorder if you keep this up!!!

if you're skinny, don't lose weight, simple.Maybe you should excersize a little less. You're fine.

im 4 9 im and 116 thats fat but your just skinny but try to eat its bad not to

weight is relative...a lot depends on your family history, your body frame, etc.

if your habits are just a personal preference, you shouldn't worry. however, if you obsess about food and exercise, associate memories with foods eaten/not eaten, and are eating so little that it interferes with your concentration, etc, then you might have something to worry about.

however, considering you're asking....you probably don't.

your only 14. and if you weigh 100 at 5 9. thats extremely unhealthy. you dont have an eating disorder. some people just dont want to eat sometimes and some people dont really have the apetite. you should start eating more though and get your body used to it. i think your fine at 130 pounds. you shouldnt lose weight. youd be killing your body.

You wont lose any weight if your 5'9 and 130lbs, typically I dont answer these questions because mostly its girls who want other people too compliment them and say "oh your not fat at all your super skinny!" but on the rare chance that this is a legitamate question Ill till your your not fat and you dont have any fat too lose. You dont have an eating disorder you have a fast metabolism from eating small meals and excercising.

At your height you should weigh around 145-160. If you get down too much farther you will run the risk of some serious medical problems. If you are really serious about losing weight, ask your parents to get you tested for an eating disorder.

Since you have alot of physical activity in a day you need to feed your body energy to keep it going. Your BMI should be checked (you can do it easily online--just go to a BMI calculator online) Your weight to height ratio sounds good as it is. I definately don't think you need to be losing any weight let alone no 30 LBS!

im 16 122lbs and 5'2. im fine with the way i look. Plus beeing chunky is the new style. guys love girls with meat on them lol. Anyways just make an effort to eat heathier. I faint in gym class last year for haveing an eating disorder. You dont want that to happen to you. Love your body and dont punish it by making it suffer.

If you are 5'9" and 130 lbs that seems about average. Your a tall girl and probably quite skinny. If you lose 30 lbs -- this may indicate an eating disorder. That would only make you 100 lbs and THAT is not HEALTHY no matter how much you excerise. Stay at the weight you are. You should try and get at least 3 meals a day, even if they are small. Working out is always a great idea. But losing 30 lbs is not. Be happy with yourself. :)

You just have a high matabilism. I have one too. Theres nothing to worry about, just get enough exercise and try to eat more meals (you know full with vegies and fruit). After you have kids youll gain fat, trust me.

I'm 5' 10 and 1/2" and weigh 135 lbs, trust me you do NOT need to lose weight. Your build is just fine. No need to diet or lose weight whatsoever. If you lose 30 lbs you will not only be too skinny, you'll be unsightly skinny.

you are at a healthy weight... a very healthy weight. i am the same height as you and a healthy weight for us is 130-150.... so your probably arleady on the thin side. if you lost thirty pounds though youd be way too thin. it wouldnt look good AT ALL. instead of not eating, eat healthy. your body needs thos vitamins... i think you might have a distorted view on what beauty is. you dont have to be thin to be pretty. there and so many curvy women who are more attractive than thin women (not gay). if you dont love yourself at this weight i doubt you will love yourself at any other weight. the insecurites will still be there. if you lost that weight tho, i would deffinately say you have an eating disorder. that would be way too thin. so try to maintain your weight. stay healthy!

i think you might just be busy with your life that you dont think so much about eating these days. if its goes on so much that you cannot eat, that you're forcing youself not to eat, thats when you start having a disorder. but if thats just how you eat then thats alright.

but if you lose more weight then you already have, other people might think your getting Anorexic

don't lose thrity pounds thats ridiculous at your height if you really want to lose weight try three or four and just keep doing what you doing to tone your body... doubt its an eating disorder

Anywho, not so much an eating disorder as an unhealthy out look on life. Not ur fault mind you. Of society says, if ur not skinny ur not pretty. Sweetheart there are far more important thing in life for you occupy ur time with.

you have disordered eating, not an eating disorder. your problem is no where near being an eating disorder, and you don't want it to be.
since you are so active, there is no reason for you to be so restrictive with your diet. you are aware of the issue you are having, and that will help you keep it in check, making sure it doesn't cross over into a more serious problem. there is a HUGE difference between being thin or wanting to be thinner than you are and having an eating disorder. there is nothing glamorous or chic about having an eating disorder. they are serious and they haunt people who suffer from them. a part of them will always be obsessed with weight and food, and they fight daily with this problem. you do NOT want that to be you.
