Contact your local hospital or planned parenthood for a list of therapists they think may help. You don't have to give your name or any personal information besides the area in which you live (so they can give you a list of therapists near you). You can also check into a hospital for a 72hr observation/evaluation so they can help guide you better in the right direction. If you are in high-school the school nurse can help you find someone to speak with and if you are in college, most have a mental health clinic or office.

Get help now, before it gets worse. It is very scary to ask for help but do it now while you can, before it becomes too much and you hide from reality.

Is there anyone else you could talk to, sister, brother, teacher, parents, uncle etc. It helps to talk out your problem with a loved one, they'll help guide you, good luck

i understand completely.
you cant control anything in your life expect your weight.
and cutting makes everything feel better.
but just try to realize what your doing.
you need to tell yourself to stop because its you.
just try to wait long periods of time in between cutting and try to realize that you can control things better.
it will turn out eventually.

try writing out your problems and keeping a journal.
it helps a lot.
and talking to a trusted person.

It's good that you are seeking help, that's the 1st step toward living the happier life you are seeking.

I didn't read and of your other posts, but my suggestion is to find someone you can trust...anyone...and tell them about it. You might cry and get emotional, but don't be afraid to open up to someone; it'll make you feel better. They can probably help you to the best of their ability. Also, this person should probably be an adult, since most teenagers about 16 and under don't always know what to do.

Ask a friend to keep you accountable and have you eat a certain amount of food every day.

I hope everything goes well. =)

aww no matter how rough life gets you should never resort to hurting yourself. life sucks sometimes but it always gets better. believe me i have been through soo much this past year i couldnt even explain it all to you. you just have to rember that you are better then that. things will ease up eventually you just have to hang in there. but you need to be eating as much as you dont want to. if you have to then take shakes and other things that give you all the calroies you need in just one drink. anything you can is better then nothing. and you should see to find help right away. cutting yourself is a serious thing. it not only hurts you but think about your friends and family. that is never the answer you need to takl to someone about it. you can email me if you want noraaahx3@yahoo.com goodluck =)

Hey Cassy

I answered your other post, but hey I tend to answer a few things. Could your current therapist help you to look for somebody that may be more suited to yourself.

With regards to your eating, could you tell a therapist or your doctor about your eating. As your weight isn't that dramatic they may not do anything yet, but at least mentioning it helps. Like i said in my last post I also lost weight (136lb-116lb) and am now technically underweight. If you are of medium or short height your weight is still healthy but you do need to tackle your food issues. Not eating though it helps you today (its avoided a lot of overdoses with me) will make your depression worse in the long run.

You aren't crazy.
