Should i try tampons!!?!

Question: what kind is best? I want a slim size

i hear all the time that you CANNOT feel it, is this REALLY true?

How often do i need to change my tampon?

you can flush it right?

b/c i hate using pads they feel like dipers and stick too my butt! plus our bathroom at school doesnt have littel trachcans in the stalls so u have to throw away ur pad in frunt of everyone

will it hurt the first tiem i put it in?

how do i know where to put it(exactly)

THANKS

I personally think the best brand of tampons is Tampax Super Plus because they are comfortable, you cannot even feel it inside you and also very easy to insert. And you also have no worry of ever 'leaking' because of its very high absorbancy.
I also hate pads because of the same reasons!
The first time you put it in it will feel very awkward, but you have to remain very calm, if you stress then the muscles in your vagina tense up and it will be VERY hard and quite painful to insert, so stay calm, relax, take a breath and everything will run smoothly.
Follow the instructions carefully(on the instruction leaflet that you will receive with your tampon purchase there is a diagram that shows you where you actually insert it) and dont leave in your body for more then 8 hours.
You can flush them down the toilet(thats why there better then the 'diapers'!)

Good Luck! XxX

tampons are good no you cant feel them inless you put them in wrong yo should change them every 4 to 6 hours yes you could flush them not the paper wrapper or aplecater. it shouldnt hurt. there are instructions in the box that tell you how to put them in. i would try the tampax brand regular and the first time i would wear a patie liner with it that way you can see how long you can leave them in for without them leacking. good luck and dont worry .

I can't remember what brand but someone out there makes a teen line i think pearl. if you put the tampon in right no you can night feel then at all, you can flush the tampon but NOT the applicator, and about where to put them in it's not that hard to figure it out. if your still a virgin then it my be a little uncomforable for a awhile and you shouldn't get aroused with them, as for pads they have the ultra thin kind, it's still the same protection as the thick as* ones but a little bit thicker then a liner, so you should try those also. good luck

Tampons are great. Although except if your body is sensitive to chemicals (like mine) I would try using a organic cotton tampon. Personally, I think they're better. No bleached cotton. Don't flush them down the toilet! It will only clog up your plumbing. Trust me. I've had this happen. Plus, it's not good for your water system wherever you live. Or the environment for that matter.

if you are worried you shouldnt use them.
go to a family planning clinic and discuss the matter with them. if you are still worried then stick to towels
