Has it always been this short? If so, it's probably normal to her. If she wants a longer cycle, birth control pills can give her that extra week.

However, a few years before I went into menopause, my cycle shortened to 21 days. Then I started skipping periods. Then I was done.

What I'm saying is that is that if you two want a baby (or another baby), it might be time to get the lead out.

Mine is the same length. My husband and I are trying to concieve and I went to the gynae for a check up and he said that it was completely normal.

But it's sweet that you are concerned about your wife.

28 days is only an average - in reality they can range from 21 to 40 days. If her cycle has changed drastically recently, you might want to get it checked out by a doctor, but if she has always had a short cycle then this is normal for her and you shouldn't worry.
