Question: while they are supposed to kill only harmful bacteria they end up killing a lot of the good bacteria, too, especially in the colon, and so they make it easy for Candida(yeast) to settle in(also in the vagina, as was before mentioned). also, bacteria can get immune and the antibiotics ineffective for yourself or even another patient

in woman it may cause vaginal infections, decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills, and you can't drink on them
Only disadvantage that I can think of is that if you take them too often you build up an immunity to them.
Some can stain your teeth.
