A lot of blood after second time sex.... Help! Period or nasty problem?!

Question: I lost my virginity a couple of weeks ago and I bled a little and it was quite painful. After the initial sharp pain it got a lot better. I bled until midday the next morning.

Then today I had sex again but as soon as he went in it was painful (on the same scale as the first time) and there was a lot of blood (a lot more than the first time). I've had no bleeding since. I am due for my period but I would have thought the normal flow would have continued if it had been that.

It's a bit of a worry and I just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences or could give reassurance/tell me what to do.

(We were careful both times)

I wouldn't worry, it may be like that the next time as well (the pain). your period(normal flow) may come down tonight or tomorrow. sometimes the penetraiting can throw the period off for a hot sec.

Don't worry!
You're fine!!!

That is completely natural and it will probably be like that the third time too!

It will gradually go away with time
