As most have said, it probably is a hemmerhoid. It could also be a skin tag. For a long time, I had something small down there, sometimes it was itchy. I finally went to a specialist who said it wasn't a hemmerhoid(which is a swollen vein that can be inside or protrude outside your anus), but a skin tag. He said it comes from straining whilest on the toilet and told me to take fiber suppliments.
As long as you're not in pain, and haven't noticed any blood on the toilet tissue, you're probably fine. Mention it to your dr at your next visit just to check, though.

HEMROID

No, it's not normal. If you're male, you should have a prostate exam. If you're a male over age 45, you should definitely also have a colonoscopy.

dude lol its a 'roid

you should check out the film ' Aliens '
It might give you a clue as to whats going on in your butt.

Yep, it's roids. Stress can and does cause this.

i agree hemorrhoids

hemorrhoids....they come and go...and when you are older they don't go....stay away from spicy foods, drink lots of water

it is most likey a hemmeroid...but could be a pollup....if you feel it again....or if you notice bleeding go see a dr asap....they can turn into cancer....be careful...i know it is embarassing....but...oh well...they chose to be an *** dr...lol....best of luck...and good health..

I will try not to joke if you are not joking....
It is most likely a hemmroid(sp).
Try looking them up on WebMD
Take warm baths and eat more fiber and try not to strain when going.

meet a doctor as soon as possible. it could be a very simple and very seriuse. hurry up...

the problem facing you are is due to constipation.

in allopathy the remedy is operation.

to avoid operation please use fibre food regularly

It is not normal but it's probably not dangerous. My guess is it's a hemmorroid. You can google hemmorroid and get more information. If you are female (since this question is placed in the Women's Health category) and you have been pregnant, then it most likely is a hemmorroid since these are very common in women who have been pregnant. If you are a woman, the next time you go to your GYN for your check up just asker her to check and advise you-- they see these all the time. (The specialist for this situaiton is a proctologist but since you are not having any pain or bleeding and it subsides, I wouldn't rush off to see a proctologist.). You're most likely just fine.

Why is this in women's health?
Go to the doctor, they poke around a bit in there, and tell you what it is.
