wiggle it as you go in. Sounds like you are at the wrong angle, move it around as you close the applicator. Try a lower absorbancy until you get the hang of it - they are normally smaller too.

Change the angle slightly

make sure that you are a little bent down so that it can curve to your body..please be careful and read the directions!

It sounds like you are putting it in at the wrong angle. If you are tensing up when you put it in then that might affect it too. Try to relax and alter the angle of insertion slightly.

You need to relax. I am sure the 'muscle is you tensing up' try put one foot on the side of the bath.

I have no idea how old you are, but it might be harder if you're a virgin.

Point it more towards your lower back. Yep, sounds like you're at the wrong angle;

Try inserting the tampon while sitting on the toilet, i find that makes it a bit easier to get the right angle for insertion.

When you reach the point of resistance, tilt the tampon toward your back as that is how the canal tilts. Make sure you get it in all the way. When you can do this, it will feel more comfortable, and you should not get any leaks.

Follow the advice above, try putting it in on a different angle or wiggle it slightly. If you're worried about leaks then try wearing a panty liner. They're like really thin pads can be bought at any chemist.

I will just mention something that the above forgot and that is.. if you can feel the tampon inside you then your wearing it wrong...you SHOULD NOT be able to feel it... try and buy the one that come with an aplicator spesially if your a virgin,, cause thats what they are designed for :) good luck hun

Cut the tampon in half. you may be hitting the cervix
