Question: I have changed my pad three times in six hours!
and each time there is alot in it!
I just got my period ... like last night?
and I don't think it was that heavy?

Periods can be very heavy at the start and then taper off quickly.
Changing a pad every two hours is normal. Changing one every hour is also normal especially on the first day.
Get a heavier pad.
I wear a Xtra long Xtra thick (bigger than maxi) with Wings.
It's the start of your period - it's normal to be heavy right from the get go. Your flow will lighten up within a day.
No need to worry.
A heavy period is quite normal. You could try using a larger pad or even using a tampon with a small pad with it.
if this is your first time having your period it is natral for u to fell like it is but yes is good for you . but if not u should ask you mom. and see what she says.
If you soak a pad or tampon in less than 1 hour, you should go to the ER, b/c this would be considered to be excessive bleeding.
