Taking a tampon out too early?!

Question: I put in a tampon for the first time tonight. I thought my flow was pretty heavy and then i had some spotting on my underwear (i had it in maybe 1.5 hours) and its regular absorbancy. i though oh i better take it out (plus it felt wierd when i sat, i thought maybe it wasnt in far enough) so i tryed to take it out ant IT WAS HARD TO GET OUT! i was scared! but eventually i got it out and it felt wierd and hurt a little, but it wasnt vey bloody.

so my question is...is it hard to take it out if you take it out early and it isnt bloody?

yes. a tampon is supposed to be left in for 4-8 hours, and if you take it out when it is not saturated the cotton scratches the walls of your vagina and it hurts. but it's okay, just wait longer next time.

its harder just because it is pretty dry. If it was pretty full on the other hand, it would have slipped out fairly easy

Yes, it is. Try a lighter absorbency if necessary.

That exact thing happened to me the first time. I leave it in for about 3 hourse to make sure that it is soaked enough to come out. Using a lower absorbency helps. Good luck.

Yes, and it hurts badly.

yes I have been wearing tampons for years and if they are not real bloody it will pull a lot and be kinda painful

Its not hard to take out except it will hurt a little because your vagna is so sensitive. It does seem as if you did not put it in properly and that is possibly why there was some spotting. If it felt weird when you sat down it was definately not in right. Do not be afraid to put in a tampon. It will not go anywhere and the string will not break off. When inserted correctly you will not feel the tampon at all.

Yes. If it isnt saturated it will feel stuck and hard to get out. Its normal. Just try to leave it in until it is moist unless you cant, then its no big deal.
Just make sure there is no cotton stuck to the walls of your vag. Clean it out when you take a shower.

Yes it usually isn't as easy to pull it out as it does to put it in. As far as the spotting it could be that you didn't have it in properly.

Yeah...it was just dry and it does hurt.

yes, if u take it out 2 soon there will be some discomfort and it won't be really bloody so leave it in longer or get a lighter flow tampon

Yes, it's always harder if it isn't wet all around.

Yes, taking it out early hurts alot-it needs to be completely soaked. If using the regular ones, leave it in for 3-5 hours. And if it's uncomfortable, you put in in wrong, it needs to be farther in!

your right- you didn't have it in far enough...don't worry about putting it in too far- it cant happen- your cervix wont let you put it up too high...
and once you've got one in let it be for at least the directed time on the box or you'll run into that exact problem :)
try a lighter flow tampon and maybe wear a thin liner if your worried about leaks :)

Yeah it is a bit harder and it does hurt because you are dry and so is the tampon
