Dry skin on vagina?!

Question: Three days ago i shaved my vagina, and then the next day I noticed some itchy razor bumps/burn on the left labia (outside, not inside).

Do you think it's just regular dry skin or something else?

stds really aren't a concern for me, I am sexually active but I'm extremely careful.

you may be careful, but your boyfriend's ex's ex's ex might not have been...

It could just be dry skin. in fact, it probably is. ;) try lotion or a moisturizing body wash.

Good luck!

Did you put lotion after you shave? because it will help your skin to keep it smooth and not dry skin.

You have common razor burn! Just make sure the next time you shave to exfoliate the area b/f you shave and wait until the end of your shower- heat of water makes ur hair follicles softer and easier to shave. Less chance of getting razor burn. And use a good shave gel with a razor that is not too old! A small electric trimmer is a great ideas as well- One that has alot of small attachements- at you rlocal drugstore!
( if you continue to get these 'bumps' you can buy after shave razor burn gel- like "bikiniline". Works great or use some powder!

I would say it's just natural razor burn. Especially if you have never shaved there before. The only cure is saliva. A substance of which I have a great abundance of and although it would be a sacrifice, I would be willing to share.
