Periods and peeing...?!

Question: Why do I pee more during my period? Normally I can sleep 6 hours without getting up to pee but during my period I have to get up every 3 hours. I also have to go more during the day. I've always been curious about this.

I always thought it was the body ridding itself of water retention.

huh, weird. never happened to me before??

you have a thing stuck up your who-who thats probably too far and pressing on your bladder.

You really dont, its that you know you are on it, and always checking to see when it stops!!! I do the same thing, and i dont even have to pee!

cranberry juice is supposed to help, eat more fiber and drink more water so you empty out your bowels so it doesn't push on your bladder

im not sure but it happens to me too - sometimes its 3 times an hour. so annoying. and i wont drink anything but feel like im going forever!

I pee more aswell but i think its because i feel warmer when i have them, so i drink more throughout the day and then i wake up needing to pee. maybe its the same in your case!

don't listen to the second girl you would be dead right now if you had something stuck up there well if you pee when blood comes out that could be a serois problem it might be UTI
or if not its just pee!!!!!

It's hormones

seems odd to me!!!!!!!!!1

But if you have a urinary tract infection, or UTI, you're probably thinking about peeing quite a lot. Why? Because it stings when you go - yow! You also might have the feeling that you need to go to the bathroom all the time. And when you do, phew! Your pee smells bad.

These changes occur because bacteria have caused an infection somewhere in your urinary tract if u have these kind of prob. concern with your mom or with your doctor.
