Omg i NEED some help!! Bacterial vaginosis?!
Question: i have went to planned parenthood and got treated for this numerous times, but i ALWAYS comes back. i have sex with my bf without condoms, im on birth control though. could he have it? and how could i treat him without grossing him out? Could i slip him the meds in a cup of water? haha. he would freak and think its an std. we have been together for 4 years but this is embarassing. i need help!
i go to planned parenthood cuz i have no insurance. do you think an actually gynocologist office would be better?? Planned parenthood is acting like i am doing stuff to keep it, like douche and stuff like that. but i dont. please help!! Anyone else have this problem or know anything about it?!

here's the thing.. you need to either stop having sex.. or wear condoms.. he needs to be checked to make sure he doesnt have it.. it's not disgusting its medical.. honestly your making it harder to treat! the longer you have it .. the more cases you get.. the harder it becomes to treat.. so yeah gross him out but deal with planned parenthood and get it taken care of now before you both cant get rid of it and have a bigger problem.
and no you cant sneak the meds to him.. the odds are either he has it and keeps giving it to you or you have had it so much that your gonna have to be put on a long dose of a high dose antibiotic and that means no sex, alcohol or anything else that might trigger a flare while your taking the crap.
it could take anywhere from 2 months to 6 months it it is bad enough..
so you both need to go get tested and see what the issue is..
If you keep getting treated and get it back is because HE is the one infecting you! Talk to him!
it's like swapping a cold....I bed if you ask your boyfriend he'd say he's got some jock itch going on and your swapping it back and forth.
Also have a test for diabetes people with higher sugar levels often have a higher risk of yeast infections.
Also don't douche it get's rid of good bacteria in your body. If you are younger get a copy of our bodies ourselves it had great info

since you guys have been together 4 4 years i think he wouldnt think of you different just express your feelings lol.
but you dont need to spend the money on something you dont know 100% about.
but maybe you should wear condoms see if that helps.
