I've had my period for 12 days now & im not taking any pills, is it somethin!
Question: i've had my period for 12 days and i'm not sure why. they always lasted 5-7 days ever since i got it 3 years ago. but never this long. i know that taking birth control can effect it, but i'm still a virgin and i'm not on any birth control or other medications. should i be worried about this?

I would call your doctor asap to see what is going on it may be nothing but it could be something. are you stressed out or did you change your diet or anything that can sometimes affect your period i know that if i got really stressed when on my period it would last a coulpe days longer. but i would really call your doctor to get it checked out better safe then sorry.
If it keeps up, i would consult a doctor.. See what they think.. or you can just call them and see what they think..
Yes i would be worried, but don't get stressed about it - just go see your doctor, it mightn't be anything!!
You probably have a hormonal imbalance. I've had this same problem intermittently throughout my life starting at age 12 - the Dr just prescribes estrogen to stop the bleeding.
I would contact my dr. usually things like this only happens when u are on da depo shots, but i would go to da dr.
