In what way does douching work?!
Question: i mean i know its to "freshen up" and i know its not good for you, but does it working by actually killing good and bad bacteria? so is it the vinegar that kills the bacteria? does that mean that essentially vinegar could be used to kill bacteria on any part of the body and on other items? i've heard of vinegar being used in laundry.

Vinegar is a universal product. It can be used for just about everything from training dogs to cleaning counter tops and killing bugs. However, it is not so great to use in your body as a cleaner other than for food purposes.
Basically douching takes out ALL bacteria, good and bad. It's not good for you because the vagina is already self cleaning, there is no need for assistance. Douching causes yeast infections because it takes out all bacteria in the vagina. which, then causes the vagina to produce more bacteria to make up for the one that were whipped out, which results in an over production of the bacteria.
The best way to "freshen up" is just to use a feminine cleaner, otherwise see and OBGYN.
