By using the tampon you can break the skin (hymen) that should not break other wise (unless you horseback ride). So no, because you need not have intercourse.
Umm...where did you hear this from. To loose your virginity, you have to have penetrating sex. You cant have sex with a tampon. However, you can break your hymen, which can cause bleeding.
But no, until you have intercourse with a male, you're still a virgin.
