I am on the pill but today i bled?!

Question: i don't always take it at the same time but within 2-3 hours usually [new job, starts different times, so my schedule is all weird]. The past 4 days i have been extremely sexually aroused...i still am today - although there is very light/dark bleeding. I have had sex four days ago - always use protection, haven't been sexually active for 4-5 months before that.

how come i am bleeding??
Is it just because of the irregularity of when i take the pill due to new schedules?

should i be worried?

Taking the pill 2-3 hours late every day wouldn't affect the pill taking as such but your eating habits will. What your having is break through bleeding it is normal and will settle down and please always use protection as well as taking the pill because of this! you need to speak to a doctor over your eating habits and to change the pill to a more suitable for you.

This bleeding can be as a result of the irregularity in time when you take your pill due to change in schedule. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

The pill is a drug, and as with all drugs there can be side effects. Different formulations exist, and it may be that this one causes this effect.
You would be best to talk to your doctor about it.
