Should I be worried about this sort of bleeding?!

Question: I went to the gynecologist for the first time earlier this month. I had a pap smear that came back normal and I was given nuvaring. Since starting nuvaring, I have had sex twice. These are the first two times I've ever had sex. It was also his first two times having sex (no chance of STD). Both times there was a significant amount of bleeding afterward. It was not so much that I had to use a pad, but I have had to use pantyliners and change them frequently. Is this something I should be concerned about?

it could be the effects of the hormones of the nuvaring. sometimes birth control can cause bleeding or spotting. but see your doctor to be sure.

go see your doctor?

Ask your doc, just to be safe, but a lot of time, bleeding after your first time is norm.

(Yeah, there IS still a chance of STD)

he popped your cherry 'hymen'
which is a little piece of cartilage in your
vagina that can be torn through sex, fingering,
etc.

i can see where you would bleed the first time. it happened to me too, but i dont think you should bleed after that. it would probably be best to get checked out.

No worry, every virgin blleeds after 1st sex. This phase is now over and it will never happen again in ur life again even u get fucked many times a day
