Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. It means your hormones are working. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused.

If it's gone away, it could be due to a change in hormones or dehydration. Drink more water.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Perhaps it was a yeast infection. If left untreated the infection can clear up on it's own, perhaps this is what has happened in your case.
If you're worried simply get in touch with a Dr.

You might get it soon, it's normal for discharge to start and stop.

Lori, a white or colorless discharge nearly all the time is perfectly normal. It gets thinner and more abundant when you're aroused and when you're ovulating. When it stops, it might be that your period is coming, or it might be nothing at all.

Don't worry about it unless its deep yellow (infection) or brown (old blood), lasting for days.

A whitish non smelly discharge is a sign that everything is ok and its very nomal to have . also it will show just before your monthly

Don't be alarmed. It's perfectly normal sounds like a build-up of yeast. Just be sure it doesn't have a funny odor to it, if it does I'd get it checked out to be sure. But other than that you should be fine, try drinking more water this can help alleviate some of that discharge, it flushes it out.Good Luck!
