Answers: I want to go on birthcontrol but i heard so many bad things about it.Plus I cant swallow pills.

Talk to your dr. Modern bc is pretty safe as long as you are not over 35 and a smoker. There are several forms that do not involve pills. Bc pills are typically extremely small, so a friend of mine always places hers in a spoonfull of yougurt to take them. She cannot swallow pills either, but says she does not notice the pill in the yogurt.

There are many different types of birth control, not all involving pills. You should talk to your doctor about your options.

As for bad things about birth control, what kind of things? I have never had a negative experience and I was put on them when I was 13 and I just stopped a year ago.

The technology of bcp has come a longggg way. Theres patches now, and the Nuva-Ring...all sorts of new things.
Are you talking about side effects like blood clots, or
Side effects may include one or more of the following:
-- nausea
-- vomiting
-- dizzy feeling
-- tiredness
-- headache
-- breast tenderness
-- abdominal pain
-- mood swings
-- early or late next period with irregular bleeding
-- weight gain
Those are possible side effects, doesn't mean you Will get them. Just a chance of them. Blood clots are always a possiblity no matter which form you use. If you smoke, and take bcp, your risk for heart/clot problems increases significantly. But you need to talk to your doctor to decide if it is right for you. Tell your doctor the bad things you have heard. He/she can dismiss the myths or rumors, or tell you which is fact. Make sure you ask which side effects are possible with the form you choose...since each form has its own set. Good luck

There 's different types of birth control. There's not just pills.
