Important Question?!

Question: I'm 14 years old, and about 6 months ago i noticed a swollen lymph node under my left armpit. It's about the size of a small marble, and it moves around a lot when i touch it. I went to see 2 different doctors and they both said it was nothing to worry about. But i've had it for 6 months now and it hasn't gotten any smaller (or bigger). It still moves around a lot and i haven't been sick or anything. It now feels like there are 2 swollen lymph nodes under my armpit, but they don't hurt. The doctor said it was because i was always touching them (which i have been). it it okay that i've had this mobile, marble-sized swollen lymph node for so long???

yea its nothing to worry about. juss don't keep touching it. this happens to me too. its probably because you shave or got a cut and bacteria got inside. ur lymph nodes are fight the bacteria, that's why its swollen [im surprised ur doctor didn't tell you this].
if you shave. try using anti-bacterial soap instead of chaving cream since itll fight bacteria. youll also might want to put some anti-bacterial soap on the blades as well.

hope this helps...^.^

the doctors are right.
you have nothing to worry about.
just let it go. and should get smaller
in time. there is no telling how long.
but it will

My Mom had the same thing and she popped hers, but it's probably safer to just let it go away on its own. Try applying neosporin, daily.

THEY COULD BE WRONG

but their probably right. If it was serious, it would probably hurt.

DONT TOUCH IT for another 4-6 months. If it gets smaller, great! If it's still there or starts hurting or getting bigger, then go to the doctors again.
