What is spotting? and discharge??!

Question: ????

Answers: ????

The vagina is self-cleaning and once you start puberty it is normal to have a white and/or clear non-foul smelling discharge. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. If the discharge is cottage-cheese like it can indicate a yeast infection. If it's yellow it can indicate a bacterial infection.

Spotting can happen once you start your period. It's usually old blood being flushed out of your vagina. Pregnant women can have this also and should be checked. Women on birth control pills can have spotting (break through bleeding) if they aren't on the right pill for them.

Spotting is when some blood from your vagina gets on your underwear (or whatever you are sitting on)
and discharge is when fluid comes out of your vagina.

spotting usually refers to your period dripping and not fully coming

discharge is like mucous that comes out of the vagina

Spotting is when you are either pregnant or not on your cycle, but spots of blood appear on your undies or when you wipe. Discharge is just that. It is usually a mucus discharge.

Spotting is light bleeding in between periods and discharge is fluid that comes from your vagina, it is usually clear or slightly white and odourless, if it has a strong smell and is coloured yellow or greenish you should go to the doctor.
