Do i need to use protection if im switching BC pills?!

Question: im switching from Yaz to Tri-Sprintec (the generic for ortho-trycyclen) and i wanted to know if i need to use protection? i took my new pills for 7 days and then had unprotected sex.

if you are taking the pills the right way (same time every day) and have taken them for at least a week before having sex you should be fine.

Yeah you should always use protection for two weeks when switching birth controls or just starting birth control

It should be fine as long as you went from the one pill to the next with no breaks. And 7 days on most pills is enough to be effective, anyway.

You should protection if u are on birthcontrol or not but if u trust your b'f u should use protection da first week.
