Has anyone taken Tri-Sprintec BC pills?!
Question: my doctor switched me from Yaz to Tri-Sprintec (the generic for ortho-tricyclen) and i was just wondering if anyone else takes or has taken this pill? if so can you list some pros/cons.
thanks

i've taken it for years and never had a problem. and it cleared up my skin!
:)
I took tri-sprintec for about 5 years until my recent tubal ligation. I have very few problems with it. when I first started taking it I felt a little hot at times like hot flashes but it didn't last. It also seems to help my skin conditions. for the most part I was pleased with them. hope this helps.
It caused daily headaches, nausea, and mood swings. And when I got my period I bled extremely heavily for 4 days with large clots. I then switched to loestrin 24 which so far has worked out well. Hope it works better for you. A good website to visit is www.askapatient.com, and type in the drug you are researching.
