When you lose weight, there is less pressure on the veins when you are sitting, so they are less likely to rupture and cause hemorrhoids to form. Also, when you lose weight, your diet gets healthier, and usually, poop becomes easier to pass, which also helps.

The more weight on has the more the heart has to work to get blood to the body. The veins return blood back to the heart & are stressed by this increase in blood flow & usually increase in BP, so they become tortured or varicose which means the valves are ruptured, similar to that of hemrrhoids. Hope that makes sense, but less weight = less stress on your veins. When leg muscles are strong you are less likely to get varicose veins in your legs, b/c veins are healthier.
