Question about Genital HERPES!?!

Question: My boyfriend has HPV on the roof of his mouth. He's had it since he was a kid and whatever. However, just this week I've been diagnosed with Herpes and I was wondering if it could've happened from his disease. Or if it just happened from having sex with someone that had genital hpv.

Basically could this hvp on the roof of his mouth be transmitted to me through oral sex or something?

Please don't answer if you're gonna say stupid or don't know what you're talking about.

Thanks!

Yes it canbe transmitted by oral sex

Yes he could transmit HPV from his mouth to you. That is a common way of spreading different forms of herpes viruses

yes because knowing that he has hpv it can be transmitted orally or even sexually go to your doctor and check it out!

HPV is not genital herpies. HPV is warts...which he could have on the roof of his mouth, but i doubt it. Its prob herpies. in that case yes, you can get it via skin on skin contact. If he does have HPV for real, you can only contract HPV not herpies. ok so,

HPV =HPV
Herpies = Herpies

You cant get HPV b/c someone has herpies and vice versa.

HPV is not genital herpes. HPV is the Human PapillomaVirus, which you can only get from sexual contact (so hopefully he hasn't had contact in his mouth from when he was a child).
If he has herpes in his mouth you might get herpes where he has touched you with his mouth. (example you might get them in your mouth when he has kissed you)
