Personal Question?!

Question: I bought 3 tampons from a machine (I am 13, my mom wont buy tampons). I got the 1st one in 3/4 off the way in. The other two I only got in half way.
I am new to tampons, so I just wanted to say I do it standing up with my legs wide open. I feel comfy-ist like that.

Why won't it go all the way in?

It might be because of the type you bought. The ones that will go in easier will be the ones with the plastic tube. It is rounded and it will slid in better. You might also try sitting on the toilet with your legs spread wide. If that doesn't do it for you. you may have to lay down on the floor. that is if you are putting it in at home. You may also be one that just can't wear them. Just curious why won't your mother buy you any? You really need to ask her, It may be that she had a problem with them when she was younger or still does. Also the ones with the plastic are more expensive and the reason you cannot buy them from a machine in the bathroom. Just talk with your mom, and ask her to please buy you one box and see how you like them. I took my 11yr old daughter to buy some personal items, for when she starts, so that she will be ready. Oh on a personnel note I got to where I could not wear tampons my self so you may be in that category. Do you have an aunt that you could talk with, or grandmother? Would they be willing to buy you a box, so that you could see if they are a good fit?

I think you should try to put on foot on the toilet seat and try putting it in. You should be totally relaxed otherwised it might be uncomfortable.

They have very small ones that are good to start with. if you stand with one leg up (on the tub or stool) it may help. Keep practicing.

it took me forever to get it in just push and it should slide right in. Maybe your not getting the right hole just stick your finger and look.

it might be your hyme thats blocking it.

When I started, my mom had to help me get it in! But since thats not going to work, here's more suggestions. Maybe try not standing up, you might tense up a little. If you don't want to sit on the toilet with your legs wide open, try putting one foot up on the toilet seat or bathtub, that will help open you up a little. Try using a compact mirror to see what you're doing. A problem I used to have was that I wasn't putting it in at the right angle. Since I don't really know if you're doing that right, you'll have to try around a little. Just try slightly different angles (more vertical vs. horizontal, etc) and it should feel easier to push in when it is right. It takes practice! Oh, make sure you are relaxed, otherwise your muscles tense up and it won't go in! Good luck!

I think you mean all the way in your bloomers/thong/undies correct? For that you take your panties off and put the tapon on top of it before putting the tampon on. Make sure your undies are as wide as the tampon, and make sure it sticks to the bottom.

You are too dumb, if you are actually mentally retarded, stick only ONE it.
