Acne problem?!

Question: I have really bad acne, and I need some opinions on how to deal with it. I'll give more info that'll hopefully help people give me better suggestions.

I'm seventeen years old, of mostly European descent (I've heard that ethnicity can be a factor). My skin is very oily, especially in the summer. During winter the dry weather seems to even it out to a non-oily state. Someone recommended to me a daily washing schedule, so I took up using a three-step acne treatment system kind of like Proactiv Solution (although a bootlegged version). All this achieved was making my skin incredibly irritated. It claimed it was a gentle system, too.

When I wash my skin regularly, it only dries out, gets flaky, and turns red and painful. I have blackheads, whiteheads, you name it. I need help! I have no idea what to do with my horrible skin.

i had a friend who had really bad acne. she didn't take care of it and let it get out of control. she went to a dermatologist and decided to do laser treatments. she also takes medicine and applies cream onto her face everyday. her skin is SO much better no. it used to be completely bumpy, red, and oily. but now her face looks completely normal.

i also had pretty bad acne when i was 16 and i used proactiv, which worked really well for me - i still use it now.

The best thing to do is visit a dermatologist. They can check your skin and can give you medicines and treatments that is right for your skin. Better consult them than treating yourself with what others say or what you see on commercials, because every person have a different skin type. While you haven't visited any specialist stop your medications and just use water to wash your face also don't use any makeup and other creams that might worsen your face.

go to dermatologist , some medicine with vit A can help

Dermatologist is your answer or pro-activ!

An easy and extremely cheap way to cure acne is to mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 9 parts water. (You can use more a. c. vinegar if you want.) Just apply it to your skin with a cotton ball a couple times a day. I use it and it really works! Good luck!
