Is your daughter overweight? Excess weight can trigger hormones and start the adolescent process early. The best idea is simply a good diet and exercise, which means going outside to play. Also, your doctor will be a lot more helpful than Yahoo! Answers.

Just explain to her everyone develop differently some faster than others. Her friends will catch up in a few years. No need to feel bad. You can also get some information from the doctors office or go to the library and get a book to help her understand what is going on with her body.\

take her to a doctor and have her explain that everything she is going through is completely normal.

I heard that alot of young girls now are getting their periods and developing faster because of the hormones that they place in foods today i kno that their is some sort of shot that you could've had ur daughter injected with earlier which would've slowed down the process because their was a special about on the local news in my city

My sister started at 8 she was well developed for her age as well She felt very uncomfortable around kids her age It is so young i know But thank god it will pass and she will get older and be right with everyone else.

Try going to this website www.beinggirl.com--it is created by always and tampax, but has a lot of information for a young girl. Another thing would be to take her to the doctor. They do have some hormonal medications that could help ease her periods so she will be more comfortable.
